About MAK Bowls and the food
What is MAK Bowls?
MAK Bowls is a pure-vegetarian weekday lunch subscription in Hinjewadi, Baner, Balewadi and Wakad, Pune. We cook familiar Indian meals and deliver them directly to supported workplaces.
How much food is in one meal?
It depends on the size, and weights are approximate: MAK Mini, approx. 208g sabzi with approx. 110g cooked rice or 2 rotis, depending on the day's dish; MAK Classic, approx. 250g sabzi, approx. 132g cooked rice and 2 rotis; MAK Plus, approx. 390g sabzi, approx. 200g cooked rice and 3 rotis; MAK Max, approx. 440g sabzi, approx. 240g cooked rice and 4 rotis. Each comes with salad and achar. Current rice-based plan meals are approx. 480g: 230g jeera rice and 250g sabzi, served with salad and achar.
Is the food spicy or oily?
Our meals are prepared with measured oil and balanced masala. We avoid the heavy, overly spicy style that can feel too much for an everyday lunch.

Is all MAK Bowls food vegetarian?
Yes. MAK Bowls is pure-vegetarian.
Lunch plans and prices
Which lunch plans are available?
MAK Bowls offers 5, 10 and 20-meal lunch plans in four sizes: MAK Mini, MAK Classic, MAK Plus and MAK Max. The 5-meal plan is valid for 15 days, the 10-meal plan for 30 days and the 20-meal plan for 45 days. Single lunches are also available in every size. Current rice-based plan subscribers keep their plans and can renew them.
How much does a meal cost?
Single lunches: MAK Mini ₹109, MAK Classic ₹149, MAK Plus ₹169 and MAK Max ₹199. Lunch plans are priced per meal by size, for 5, 10 or 20 meals: MAK Mini ₹105, ₹99 or ₹94; MAK Classic ₹145, ₹139 or ₹134; MAK Plus ₹165, ₹159 or ₹154; MAK Max ₹195, ₹189 or ₹184. No extra charge on paneer days. Current rice-based plan subscribers keep their plans: 5 meals for ₹675 (₹135 a meal), 10 meals for ₹1,290 (₹129 a meal) and 20 meals for ₹2,480 (₹124 a meal).
Which days is lunch served?
MAK Bowls serves weekday lunches, Monday to Friday.
Delivery
Where does MAK Bowls operate?
MAK Bowls currently serves selected supported locations in Hinjewadi, Baner, Balewadi and Wakad, Pune. Delivery is free at supported locations.
Is delivery charged separately?
No. Delivery is free at supported MAK Bowls locations in Hinjewadi, Baner, Balewadi and Wakad.
Do you deliver through Swiggy or Zomato?
No. MAK Bowls delivers directly to supported workplaces, without a food-delivery marketplace in between.
Office, school and college lunches
Can MAK Bowls deliver lunch to my office, school or college?
Possibly. We currently serve selected workplaces in Hinjewadi, Baner, Balewadi and Wakad. Send us your location on WhatsApp and we’ll confirm whether we can serve your office, school, college or campus.
Does the company have to pay for employees' meals?
No. Employees choose a plan and pay MAK Bowls directly. Your company doesn't need a lunch budget to make MAK Bowls available to its team.
Can employees choose and pay individually?
Yes. Each person picks their own plan and pays by UPI, cash or bank transfer. Each person also manages their own skips.
Can our team try MAK Bowls before choosing a plan?
Yes. First-time customers can book one paid trial meal in any size, once per customer, at the regular price: MAK Mini ₹109, MAK Classic ₹149, MAK Plus ₹169 and MAK Max ₹199. Don't like your first MAK? Tell us on WhatsApp and we'll refund the full amount you paid for it. There is no subscription commitment. It is subject to availability at your workplace, on service days, ordered on WhatsApp before the next-day cutoff at 9:30 PM. If you like it, choose a 5, 10 or 20-meal plan.
What if our building isn't on your delivery route yet?
Tell us anyway. We deliver only to selected supported locations, and we'll let you know honestly whether we can reach your building.
Does someone in HR need to collect orders or money?
No. Each person orders and pays MAK Bowls directly on WhatsApp.
Ordering
How do I order?
Order on WhatsApp. Send us the plan you want and your workplace. Next-day orders close at 9:30 PM.
Skipping meals
Can I skip a meal in my subscription?
Yes. Skip by 9:30 PM the previous day to keep your meal credit. Changes after the cutoff may be counted as a meal.
Payments and cancellations
How can I pay?
We accept UPI, cash and bank transfer.
Are lunch plans refundable?
No. Meal plans are non-refundable once activated, and unused meal credits are not eligible for cash refunds.
